Delve into the powerful influence of Afro-Brazilian culture. Take a walking tour around the Saúde neighborhood, learn about Rio’s history as the world’s largest African slave market, Mauá Square, Cais do Valongo and visit the Museum of Afro-Brazilian History and Culture. In the afternoon, learn some new moves while you’re in Rio de Janeiro during this samba dance class.
Spend the day on the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, as Rio prepares for its world-famous New Year’s celebration. In the evening, enjoy a beachfront dinner. As night falls, experience Reveillon right on Copacabana Beach. Witness a spectacular fireworks display, jump in the waves for good luck and enjoy an unforgettable night of music, joy, and celebration.

Q. When should I arrive in Rio de Janerio?
You should arrive at Galeão International Airport at 12pm. Your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall after you have collected your luggage from the designated baggage claim belt.
Q. Do you have payment plans?
A. Yes we do! After you make your deposits, the remaining balance will be broken into equal monthly installments. The trip must be paid in full by November 15, 2026.
Q. What is the cancelation policy? Will I get a refund if I need to cancel or reschedule my trip?
A. Deposits are nonrefundable.
Cancellations made 120 days or more before departure receive a full refund (minus deposit)
Cancellations made 90-119 days prior forfeit 50% of payments made towards the trip cost.
Cancellations within 89 days of departure result in a full forfeiture of all payments.
Q. Do I need a passport to visit Rio de Janerio?
A. Travelers are required to have a passport and will need 2 pages free. The passport needs to be valid for at least six months before the date of departure.
Q. Do I need a visa to visit Rio de Janerio?
A. Yes, U.S. citizens require a visa and your passport must have two pages free for a visa stamp. To obtain a visa, visit and apply and pay the $85 fee: Brazil eVisa

A. You should book your flight to Galeão International Airport . The airport code is GIG.

Q. Do you offer roommate matching?
A. Yes we offer same-sex roommate pairing whenever available. If we are unable to match you, you will be charged a single supplement.
Q. If something comes up and I cannot go on the trip, can I get my deposit back?
