FAQs for for smooth sailing!

Payment Terms:

Q. How do I pay for my cruise?

A. More than 120 days before your departure date, you'll need to pay a 20% deposit to secure your booking (but don't forget, you can also hold a booking for 24 hours without any money down up to 45 days). Once you're within 120 days of sailing, the full voyage fare is due at the time of booking.

 Q. Do you have payment plans?

A. We work directly with Uplift which makes paying for your voyage simple by giving you the freedom to travel when you want, with as low as $0 due at booking and the flexibility to pay over time.

Cancellations and Refunds:

Q. What is the cancelation policy? Will I get a refund if I must cancel or reschedule my trip?

A. Virgin Voyage's cancellation policy:

If you’re booking more than 120 days prior to the start of the voyage, you have a 7-day grace period to request a full refund on your deposit and any other payments made. Refunds will be issued to your original form of payment.

After the 7-day grace period (but still before the 120-day window), you can receive a full refund on any payments, excluding your deposit. For your deposit, you will receive Future Voyage Credit at this time.

Between 119 and 45 days, any funds paid will be converted to Future Voyage Credit (FVC), good to use on any voyage 1 year from the original voyage start date.

Once you’re within 44 days of your voyage, all funds paid are final. But you do have the option to send someone else in your place up to 48 hours before your voyage if you really can't sail. Please note that taxes and fees will be refunded regardless of when the booking is canceled.
